Would you love to be able to eat ice cream just because you wanted some? And not have the experience of eating ice cream be scary, a "bad thing," or mean anything other than you wanted some ice cream, so you ate some and moved on with your life?

Does a challenging body image moment make you want to secretely go on another diet or join yet another "wellness program?" But in your heart, you know that's not what you really need. You really need to learn how to begin making peace with food and your body. But honestly, making peace with food and your body scares you... because it's so unknown what that looks like and it's unknown of what will happen to the size of your body.

Have you been on a diet for as long as you can remember? And now you want to stop dieting and start taking care of yourself and your body? But, you aren’t sure how to do this, and you need support to help you get to this new peaceful place with food and your body.

Do you crave being able to have space in your head for hobbies, fun, meaningful conversations & thoughts that have nothing to do with food or body size?

If you answered YES to one or more of these questions, I invite you to continue reading to see if this group sounds like a fit for where you are in your food and body image healing journey. And, if it sounds like what you need at this time in your life.

Hi. I’m Corinne. I’m a Non-Diet Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor with a Masters in Nutrition.

I help clients make peace with food, heal their body image issues, and reconnect with who they are as a WHOLE person. I specialize in helping clients break free from the mental, emotional, and physical toll of chronic dieting, various levels of disordered eating, and body image issues – as well as nutrition and body image healing work in eating disorder recovery.

And, I'd like to invite you to open your heart and see if this group is for you.

My Intuitive Eating & Body Image Healing Support Group is hands-on, interactive and intimate, and it's 10 weeks. It's also a virtual group experience over video.

Throughout the 10 weeks we'll spend together, you’ll learn tactical tools for real everyday life to help you make peace with food, build a better body image, and start taking care of yourself as a WHOLE person - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

The goal of the group is to help you feel more normal around food, connected with your body, and to experience more thoughts in your everyday life that have nothing to do with your food choices or the size of your body. And, most importantly, to feel less alone.

By the end of your group experience, you'll walk away with a better understanding of what Intuitive Eating is, but more importantly how to practice this newfound food freedom in the real world.

You’ll learn how to handle common food and body image struggles with less anxiety and more ease... Think:

  • How to handle a changing body, as you move through life and as you make peace with food,
  • How to move through (and eventually abolish) fear, guilt, or shame in your relationship with food,
  • How to begin untangling your worth from your weight and physical appearance,
  • How to handle challenging comments about food or your body (including the ones you make about yourself),
  • And so much more.

The goal in group is for you to learn how to make peace with food, so food becomes something you can enjoy again. And to grow your "self-care toolbox" full of practices - that actually work - to build-inner confidence, self-compassion, and a more positive body image. And, to do all of this with a kind, caring, compassionate group of individuals cheering you on.

Sound good to you??

here's how group works...

  • We'll meet WEEKLY VIA ONLINE VIDEO for 10 weeks, for a total of 10, ninety-minute group coaching sessions.
  • Group is held Wednesdays from 5:30-7 pm pst / 8:30-10 pm est - the next group starts Wednesday, July 17th and goes until Wednesday, September 18th.
  • All materials (guides, handouts, worksheets) are included in the cost of the program and will be provided.
  • Group is highly interactive & participatory. The first 30-minutes of group consists of individual check-ins; the next 30 minutes we'll cover the session's topic (an Intuitive Eating Principle & Body Image Healing piece); and the concluding 30-minutes will be comprised of group discussion and individual takeaways from session.
  • This is a LIVE group only. If you miss a session, you unfortunately miss a session. Recordings won't be sent out. This is to preserve the intimacy of the group and to keep individuals showing up to group. Because otherwise, there's no point of joining a group coaching experience. And, there is something magically healing about being in a group with individuals going through what you're going through.
  • Each group session will have suggested "homework," to allow you to begin experimenting with what you're learning in group, so you can learn what works best for you and what isn't as helpful. The "real work" happens in-between our sessions!
  • Once you've completed the group, you'll have 30 days of email support directly from Corinne for ongoing support, as you navigate food & body image issues that pop up.
  • Throughout the 10-week experience you'll have unlimited email support from the leader of the group, Non-Diet Dietitian & Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Corinne Dobbas, MS, RD - and you will be encouraged to use it!

this experience is a great fit for you if:

  • You're ready and want to make peace with food, so you can stop dieting (or counting calories, macros, or whatever)
  • You want to quit obsessing about your body size and weight...but you're not sure how
  • You long to feel better in your body and nurture a more positive body image
  • You have an idea of what Intuitive Eating is (you may have even read the book or completed the Intuitive Eating Workbook), but you need help implementing the principles and nuances of intuitive eating in real life
  • You want a guided, hands-on experience from a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and you're ready to show up for one
  • You want to find satisfaction, freedom, and empowerment in your relationship with food, and you're excited to learn how to actually make it happen

this experience is NOT for you if:

  • You're just looking for another way to lose weight or control your body or food
  • You're not willing to make a commitment to the group
  • You don't have an open mind
  • You're not at all excited while reading this page and have no interest in personal growth
  • You don't believe in the mind-body connection
  • You have an active eating disorder or any ongoing medical condition that would make it unsafe for you to participate in the group. Please know this program isn’t intended to treat something that could be related to an underlying medical or mental health issue and it does not substitiue for mental health treatment and/or therapy. If you have questions about whether this group would benefit you, please email me at Corinne[at]CorinneDobbas[dot]com

during our time together you will:

  • Dig deep into the world of intuitive eating and begin learning what intuitive eating looks like in real life and how it looks for you
  • Learn tools and practices to cultivate a more positive body image
  • Be challenged to show up, do the work, and heal - all while cultivating food freedom, body respect, and peace within yourself
  • Start taking better care of yourself - mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually
  • Begin making positive changes in other areas of your life - because once you start healing your food and body image issues, you begin healing other areas of your life too

what others have shared about working together...

"This was one of the best things I've done for my mental and physical well-being in the last 5 years. I've been stuck in a pattern of restrictive eating, and have had great difficulty breaking out of it, even with the help of therapists and the desire to do so on my part. And the best part? I'm starting to shift. I can feel it. I AM starting to think about what I can change. What I might WANT to eat, instead of what I think I SHOULD eat. That's a game-changer for me."

~ Ann S, Portland, Oregon

"After decades of dieting, I had a lot of foods that I considered off limits. Corinne showed me how to take back the power of certain foods and how to allow them back in my life in a healthy way. None of the diet plans out there address the issues Corinne does, which explains why most work for a time and then fail when you go “back” to your normal ways. I LOVED my time with Corinne! Our conversations were like food/body image therapy for me! It was a psychological/emotional treat every time we spoke.”

~ Nicole K, San Rafael, California

"You are truly gifted at what you do, and I want you to know that you have touched my life and made it better.”

~ Sue L, Portland, Oregon

1. How are the group sessions structured?

Each week, we'll start group with a check-in from members. What have you discovered in your food and body image healing journey, since our last meeting? What's going well? What are your wins? And what are areas you'd like support in? After group check-in (about 30 minutes), we'll move onto the session's topic, an Intuitive Eating Principle and body image healing piece (about 30 minutes), and we'll conclude with group discussion and individual takeaways from session (about 30 minutes).

2. How much time per week will this require?

You'll need 90 minutes for each weekly coaching session, and you'll need, on average, 60 minutes for the "homework." There will be suggested homework accompanying each of the 10 group sessions. Homework may be a worksheet, journal exercise, suggested reading, and/or a new food and body image healing tool to experiment with.

3. What if I can't attend one of the sessions?

Unfortunately, all group sessions are conducted live to keep the group feeling like a group and to keep group members showing up in real time. I've led groups where sessions were recorded and emailed out. However, that made it easier for individuals to not show up for group and then overtime, feel less connected to group and ultimately, not have the group experience they signed up for. If you can't attend one of the sessions, then you can't attend one of the sessions. However, bief session wrap-up notes and things to work on between now and our next session will be emailed out after each group session, which will help, if you can't attend one of the sessions in your 10-week experience.

4. What is the refund policy?

As this is a group with limited capacity, no refunds will be given for a spot taken. If you have questions or concerns if this program is for you, please apply to set up a free discovery call here.

5. What if I just want to come to a few sessions, and I can't do the whole 10-week program?

Unfortunately, this group isn't set up to attend only a few sessions here or there for my own time and energy purposes, but also for yours. With the commitment and week-by-week sessions, you're much more likely to feel movement forward in your healing process. If you would like an experience where you can schedule your own sessions, please check out 1:1 Virtual Food & Body Coaching here.

6. What exactly am I going to learn?

Each group will differ based on the needs of the group and what comes up organically in session; however, there are core elements that will remain consistent throughout each group experience.

Here are the core learnings in group:

more love notes...

"The scale no longer has power over me! I immediately thought of you and was so thankful for all the work we did together. It was amazing! In all my adult life, I've never been able to look at the number on the scale and not let it control me. I no longer beat myself up over it. I wanted to let you know what a huge impact you have had on me and my view of myself. Transformational! So thank you, thank you, thank you!”

~ Nicole K, Boston, MA

"The only hesitation I had in working with Corinne was whether or not I was ready to take on such extensive reflection. I think that the question of “Am I ready to change?” was my only roadblock. Since working with Corinne, I’ve stopped a yearlong binging cycle in its tracks and while I’ve had “slips” along the way, my bouncing back has been much faster than days past. The most noticeable change has been that I can feel beautiful at any weight. That idea doesn’t resonate every hour of every day, but it certainly has come more frequently since we started working together.

I particularly liked the fact that Corinne shared her knowledge based on personal experience. It’s important to me when working on self-improvement that whoever is coaching me knows what they’re talking about. And I’m not referring to the book knowledge. While I do think academia behind what we work on is key, I tend to give more credibility to the person who “works her own program” so to speak. Corinne helped me see that I was worth it, that I didn’t have to do anything perfectly, and that changing was a gradual thing that doesn’t really ever end.Thank you for showing up for me, Corinne. This has been an incredible foundation-building journey and your patience and advocacy for me have been incredibly humbling.”

~ Taylor W, Larkspur, California
